Item Analisis Kekukuhan Teori Okun Dan Philips Bagi Negara Asia Terpilih(Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, 2014) Ang Syh HanEkonomi rantau Asia telah mengalami pertumbuhan pesat dalam beberapa dekad yang lalu, akan tetapi isu pengangguran dan kadar inflasi masih tidak mampu di kawal oleh pihak kerajaan menggunakan dasar fiskal dan monetari. Isu ini boleh diperjelaskan menggunakan teori tradisional Okun dan Phillips yang menterjemahkan hubungan negatif di antara kadar pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pengangguran; dan hubungan antara pengangguran dan kadar inflasi. Kajian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kointegrasi dan penyebab menggunakan teori Okun dan Philips yang melibatkan negara maju dan negara membangun Asia seperti Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, Thailand, Jepun dan Korea Selatan menggunakan data siri masa tahunan sepanjang tempoh 1980-2010. Terdapat tiga teknik yang penting diambil kira dalam kajian ini untuk penganggaran data siri masa. Pertama, mengenal pasti tahap kepegunan menggunakan pendekatan tradisional dan moden menggunakan kesan perubahan struktur. Kedua, mengenal pasti hubungan kointegrasi menggunakan kerangka jangka masa panjang dan pendek. Ketiga, kajian ini menggunakan ujian penyebab untuk mengesan hubungan penyebab antara pemboleh ubah kajian. Keputusan keseluruhan kajian ini tidak seimbang dan bertentangan dengan hukum Okun dan Philips bagi beberapa negara kajian. Sehubungan itu, untuk mengimbangi pengangguran, inflasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi, para pembuat dasar harus menilai isu ini dan menganalisis secara kolektif menyebabkan pengangguran dan tidak semata-mata fokus terhadap penetapan teori Okun dan Philips setiap masa.Item Analisis penggunaan dadah secara suntikan di kalangan pesakit HIV-TB(Terengganu: Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, 2014-01) Nurul Syahida Abdul RahmanHuman Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) merupakan penyakit yang berjangkit yang semakin meningkat dari setahun ke setahun. Virus HIV ini, boleh menjangkiti manusia melalui beberapa cara seperti hubungan seks bebas (secara heteroseksual atau secara homoseksual), jangkitan menerusi aliran darah yang tercemar seperti daripada ibu ke anak sebelum kelahiran, semasa kelahiran, penyusuan susu ibu terhadap anak dan perkongsian peralatan seperti jarum suntikan dadah. Oleh itu, satu kajian telah dijalankan untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang berisiko yang menyumbang kepada jangkitan TB terhadap pesakit HIV positif melalui penggunaan dadah suntikan (IDU) di negeri Kelantan. Kajian ini menggunakan Model Regresi Logistik dan membuat Pemodelan Persamaan Berstruktur. Sampel kajian yang digunakan dalam kajian ini ialah sebanyak 176 pesakit HIV-TB yang menggunakan IDU dan tanpa IDU yang diperolehi dari Unit Rekod Perubatan Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (HUSM) Kubang Kerian Kota Bharu Kelantan.Item Analisis sikap pelajar diploma terhadap matematik menggunakan model persamaan berstruktur dan regresi logistik(Terengganu: Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, 2013-10) Husnizaaina Abdul MananPencapaian pelajar dalam mata pelajaran Matematik pada peringkat diploma program kerjasama institusi pengajian tinggi awam (TPTA) kian membimbangkan dan meninggalkan kesan ke atas reputasi sesebuah institusi pengajian tinggi swasta (IPTS) di Malaysia. Oleh disebabkan kajian mengenai ruang topologi kabur mula dikaji dari pelbagai aspek, kajian ini menfokuskan ruang topologi kabur Chang. Ruang topologi kabur Chang telah menjadi peneraju beberapa perkembangan konsep-konsep baru seperti kejiranan kabur, fungsi selanjar kabur, homeomorfisma kabur dan tudung kabur. LAC is synthesized from linear Logarithmic Curvature Graph (LCG), whereas GLAC can produced linear LCG gradient function. The first part of this research is dedicated to formulating offsets of LAC and the investigation of its evolutes which can be utilized to prevent cusps in LAC offset. The second part extends GLAC from planar curve to space curve and the resultant curve is denoted as Generalize Log- Aesthetic Space Curve (GLASC). GLASC is formulated by first constructing torsion profile similar to curvature profile in GLAC. It is then solved both curvature and torsion profile together with initial values in the form of Frenet-Serret frame. Due to its enormous size. the datasets poses a more complex problem especially in classification tasks where the datasets have different characteristics. Currently, most machine learning algorithms are able to deal with small to medium sizes of datasets with the use of single memory computer. Due to network topology changes, packet (or message) routing in MANETs is a significant and challenging research area. However, the question on the degree of its efficiency remains unanswered. The purpose of this study is to determine an efficiency index so-called the Labour Efficiency Index (LEI) in an attempt to answer the highlighted question. Firstly, the index formula employed in various index such as the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and the Human Development Index (HDI) were used to produce two types of the index namely Fixed Base and Chained Base. Then, these index values were combined with the technical efficiency component, 𝑢 in the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) to produce the desired LEI index. Unfortunately, this method is not always applicable due to the limitations in computational reliability and its applications are not-well received by many MCDM enthusiasts. The method is extended to Fuzzy Simple Additive Weighting (Fuzzy SAW)thanks to the development of fuzzy set theory. The method is extended to Fuzzy Simple Additive Weighting (Fuzzy SAW) thanks to the development of fuzzy set theory. Fuzzy SAW utilized fuzzy numbers rather than crisp numbers. Nevertheless, type-1 fuzzy set is weak in handling uncertainty compared to Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Set (IT2 FS). Differently from the typical Fuzzy SAW, which directly utilized trapezoidal type-1 fuzzy numbers, IT2 FS introduced to the Fuzzy SAW to enhance judgments in the fuzzy decision making environment. IT2 FS is more sensitive in handling uncertain information or data. Besides, in this study, Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Simple Additive ii Weighting (IT2 Fuzzy SAW) method is integrate with Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (IT2 Fuzzy TOPSIS) method to handle fuzzy multiple criteria decision making problems based on IT2 FSs.
