Apparently, most of these resources produce harmful waste, endanger the living things on earth and this lead scientist to search a new way to substitute this conventional energy sources.Item Comparative synthesis methods of disordered LiNi0.5O4 spinel as a lithium-ion battery's cathode for high energy desity applications(Terengganu: Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, 2017) Nur Diyana RosedhiLiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 has been successfully synthesized by glycine-assisted solution route at low-temperature reaction, ball-milling, and ionic liquid-assisted rheological phase body reaction method, followed by thermal treatments at 750, 850, and 950 °C, respectively for 12 h. The X-ray diffraction patterns of all samples can be assigned to a cubic spinel LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 with fd3m space group (Joint Committee on Powder Diffraction Standards-card no: 80-2162). From the transmission electron microscope images, the d-spacing between the lattice fringes is approximately 0.47 nm and consistent with the characteristic plane (111) of fd3m for LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4. In large quantities, the SS can alter the ecosystem of the area by limiting the level of light penetration into the deeper seabed. Recently, a number of algorithms have been developed to distinguish SS influenced area and clear water regions in coastal water areas but these algorithms require complicated computational analyses. Thus, a simple method is needed to accurately detect the presence of SS temporally and spatially needs to be developed. This study was conducted to detect the region that affected by SS along coastal line and estuaries by using remote sensing technique. In order to detect the region that affected by the SS on a daily basis, a simple algorithm that based on empirical technique was developed.
