The geochemistry of metals and rare earth elements (REE) in dissolved and pariiculate phase, and in surface sediment of Brunei Bay was studied. The objectives of the study were to determine the environmental status of Brunei Bay with respect to metals and REE and to study the influence of seasonal weather on their distribution in Brunei Bay. Study of lead (Pb) contamination patterns in Brunei Bay was attempted by measurements of 206Pb, 207Pb and 208Pb isotopic ratios in water and sediment.en_US
