Abstract
The Malaysian Information and Communication Technology market has strong growth fundamentals with key sectors that include the government, telecommunications, and education. Malaysia has more than 20 million Internet users (2015 statistics), and as such, the demand for enabling technologies for Malaysia’s 1.1 million registered businesses into the new economy are high. The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) is tasked to drive the nation’s digital economy agenda, capitalizing on the 3,800 tech companies and 150,000 knowledge workers across the country
