Abstract: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) is the principal government agency tasked with maintaining law and order and coordinating search and rescue operations in the Malaysian Maritime Zone and on the high seas. It is in effect the coast guard of Malaysia. The Agency and its members are part of the Malaysian Civil Service and report directly to the Prime Minister's Department. Some of Malaysia communities are still not aware about the new establishment of the MMEA. This is one of the reasons that influencing women become a minority group in MMEA. Besides that, someone that interested to join MMEA must have a strong physical fitness. Apart of that, they also must have good qualities like patient, decisive and can work under. It because, MMEA career need the person that has this qualities and MMEA career also lead to the operation division. That is for personal perspective. Furthermore, lot of cost to provide the facilities for women workforce in MMEA it an employer perception. For instance, those women who like to join operation activity it need more cost to provide facilities for women in the vessel. In this case, employers do not want to bear the cost of construction of facilities on board for women. This study will discuss the factor women workforce interested to join MMEA. This study also provides the total number of strength MMEA.
