dc.description.abstract | The fuel consumption nowadays increases from time to time. The increase of application the fuel empty in one day and when the fuel decrease, the price of fuel will increase and will affect the economy. Beside that, this study is done determine the effect of Hybrid Hydro Oxide (HHO) gas produced from electrolysis process. Sodium bicarbonate (NaHC03) is used as catalyst to increase the reaction in the electrolysis process. The gases produced are testing on motorcycle to the determined the effect in reducing consumption and the distance covered. The maximum rates of HHO gas produce are 78.69885 mVmin at pH 8.876. 150 ml of petrol tester using 5 different concentration of the sample. The tests are start with 150 ml fuel without the sample, 10 g NaHC03, 40 g NaHC03, 50 g NaHC03 and 100 g NaHC03. Beside that, the percentage increase are 123% with save the used of fuel are 55%. The effective of this study are proving that 40 g NaHC03 as catalyst in saving fuel and the distance are double. This study also can apply to use at car one day in future. | en_US |
