The attraction of bird feeders to bird's population was conducted in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT)'s mangrove area. The objectives of this research are to identify the bird species and to investigate the feasibility of bird feeder as a conservation tool. Birds were attracted using three types of bird feeder including bird table, hanging feeder and ground feeder from August 2006 to January 2007. A total of 147 sightings of eight species from seven families were recorded in this study. Magpie Robin (Copsychus saularis) was the most frequent species observed at study site with 70 visits (47%), which represent almost half of total sightings.
