Abstract:	Fifteen sediment samples were collected from Johor coastline (South China Sea) and analyzed for Al, Mn, Cr and Fe concentrations. The analysis was carried out using total digesion method and measurements by ICPMS. The sediment were also analyzed for organic carbon content, grain size distribution and other general characteristic that may influence the distribution of heavy metals in sediment.
