Abstract: Golden arowana (Scleropages formosus) is an ancient, endangered and one of the most expensive ornamental fish in the world. One of the major problems in arowana farming industry is the gender of golden arowana is difficult to distinguish due to absence of phenotypic sign and sexual dimorphism in both male and female individuals.
