Papadakis system of climate classification give special consideration into ecological requirements of the different agricultural crops and such that the classification indicates the agricultural potential and limitation in a region. This system also enable a useful interpretation of the possible land utilization types. An advantage of this system is that the meteorological data required for the classification are generally available in the country. A global system of classifying world climate such as Papadakis system has shown that this system can be used to classify the climate of Peninsular Malaysia to a great level of detail.en_US
