Abstract: A study of total fish landing by trawl nets was conducted in the LKIM Chendering fish port. From the research of this project, we can note the several objectives. Those are, to determine the fish abundance and to determine the fish species that been caught by the trawl using the trawl net in Terengganu sea water. All the information and the data got from officers at the port. 20 of respondents were chosen randomly to answer the survey form. This survey was to collect the information related to the study. Many problems were faced during the activities. The fishermen in port not allowed follow them in boat during the catch because of safety. To encounter and minimize the problems, some actions were taken. Collect the data that available there without follow the fishermen going out to the sea. All the collected data, comparisons and the result expressed in description like percentage, average, histogram, graph, chart and so on. Although trawl net is the most efficient fish vessel in Malaysia, but overall comparison shows that purse seine give the higher fish landing than trawl net. From the result of the survey, we know that trawl net is one of the dynamic vessels and one of the important vessels in Terengganu. There is much kind of fish species that been caught by the trawl net compare to the other fish vessel.
